Welham Girls Admission Update 2024, admissions are offered in Classes 5th, 6th and 9th only, subject to vacant seats. The age limit is 10½ Year on 1st April of the year of joining the School in Class 6th. Similarly, connection of age and class to which admission is sought are as following.
Age criteria at the time of admission in Welham Girls
class 6th – 10y and 6m to 12 year
Class 7th – 11y and 6m to 13 year
Class 11th – 15y and 6m to 17 year
Welham Girls Registration Procedure
An application for registration is the first stage of the admissions process at welham girls. A registration fee must be sent alongside the application so that the girl’s name might be registered for the year and class for which admission is sought. The fee is neither refundable nor adjustable and it is substantial just for the specified academic year. Registration of a girl is not a guarantee of her admission.
Requirements at the hour of registration:
1-One latest passport size photograph of the girl has to be appended.
2- The completed Registration Form along with attached photocopy of Birth Certificate and the Registration Fee.
3- The Birth Certificate should be issued by Municipal corporation of the region in which the girl was born. Or Affidavits, certificates from the hospital, or certificates from some other person are not acknowledged. The Birth Certificate should not be dated over one year after the date of birth.
Entrance test / Assessment at Welham Girls
Each girl registered for admission into classes VI and VII is relied upon to show up for an Aptitude/Proficiency Assessment at the specified focus closest to the individual girl’s place of residence. The Assessment is held in November/December of the year going before that in which admission is sought. Particulars of these Assessments are sent by the school to parents well progress of time.
Offers of admission are given on the basis of the results of these Assessments and rely upon the number of vacancies in each class. Some inclination is given to daughters of transferable Government officials and serving Armed Forces personnel. Inclination is also given to girls whose mothers have studied in this school for at least four years or who have passed out of school toward the finish of Class XII. Inclination is also given to those whose genuine sisters have studied or are at present studying in the School.
For admission to Class XI, in any case, there is no increase since this depends on the Board examination results.
Any requests for other particular treatment are not engaged. Just in extremely uncommon and extraordinary cases, the Board of Governors reserves the privilege to exercise its discretion in the matter of admissions.
The student is also required to pass a medical fitness test
