Under the name “Canadian School of India,” two Canadian businessmen founded Canadian International School (CIS) in 1996. It was founded to serve students seeking an international education in a global setting. In the year 2002, a new Board of Directors took control of the institution, and it was given the name “Canadian International School.” In the year 2006, Canadian International School relocated to a new, 15-acre site.
