Co-educational, entirely residential, English-medium Pinegrove School was founded in 1991 and is accredited by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi, to Class 12. Pinegrove is honoured to be a part of the esteemed Indian Public Schools’ Conference (IPSC), a Global Member of the Round Square, a member of the NPSC, NCC, and AFS, and it is certified with the ISO 9001:2015 (BSI) standard. The institution belongs to the IAYP as well.

Pinegrove is divided into two sites, each in the district of Solan in the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, both in the most attractive areas of the Shimla Hills. The Pinegrove School, Subathu is located on the banks of a creek at the Dharampur location of the school, which is surrounded by a dense and lovely pine forest.
